Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DigicovAI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Flashwriter browser extension (the "Extension"), available on the Chrome Web Store. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Extension.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Flashwriter is a browser extension that assists you in generating written replies and follow-up messages for conversations on supported platforms, currently LinkedIn. When active, the Extension reads the visible conversation text on the page you are viewing, together with your prompt, and sends this information to third-party AI providers (OpenAI and/or Anthropic) to generate a suggested message in your voice and style.

Every suggested message, including any follow-up message, is presented to you for review. You must actively approve and send each message; the Extension does not autonomously post or send messages without your explicit action.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Extension. If you are a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian to use the Extension.

To use the Extension, you must sign in using Google Sign-In (OAuth). By signing in, you authorize us to receive basic profile information from your Google account (name, email, profile picture) to create and manage your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Extension, or engaged in unlawful or abusive messaging activity.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal or internal business purposes. This license does not permit you to sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Extension, or use it to build a competing product.

The Extension generates suggested text using third-party AI providers based on the conversation content visible to you and your prompts. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any message before it is sent. We do not review or moderate any message before you approve it.

You agree not to use the Extension to send messages that are unlawful, harassing, deceptive, spammy, defamatory, or that violate the terms of service of the platform on which you use the Extension, including LinkedIn's User Agreement and any policies applicable to automation.

You agree not to: (1) use the Extension to engage in spam or bulk messaging that violates a platform's terms of service; (2) harass, threaten, deceive, or impersonate any person; (3) attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; (4) interfere with or disrupt the Extension or its infrastructure; (5) use automated systems to interact with the Extension beyond its intended functionality; or (6) upload viruses or malware through the Extension.

The Extension relies on third-party AI providers, currently OpenAI and Anthropic, to generate suggested message text; we are not responsible for the content or availability of their outputs. The Extension also operates on top of LinkedIn as a third-party platform; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn or Microsoft. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Extension on LinkedIn complies with LinkedIn's policies, including restrictions on automation or bulk messaging.

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE, OR THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGICOVAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION OR ANY MESSAGE YOU APPROVE AND SEND USING IT. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU BEAR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY MESSAGE SENT USING THE EXTENSION, AS EVERY MESSAGE REQUIRES YOUR EXPLICIT APPROVAL BEFORE IT IS SENT.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DigicovAI from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of: (a) your use or misuse of the Extension; (b) any message you approve and send; (c) your violation of these Terms or any third-party platform's terms of service; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third party's rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused it. You may stop using the Extension and delete your account at any time by contacting us or uninstalling the Extension.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms; continued use after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
